Miss Ornopia

 In a family of five, I was born and raised in Glendale, California. Because of our simple life, my two siblings and I learned how to appreciate the small things in life, including my short stature. Though I am vertically challenged, I do my best to emanate optimism, kindness, respect, and energy into everything I do.

One of the highlights of my life was running my first half marathon, specifically the Disney Princess Half Marathon, in Disney World. I absolutely love to run because it mentally inspires me to achieve the inevitable and I can't help but enjoy the adrenaline rush. I also love to play soccer, which is why this will be my third year being the Assistant Coach for the Ladies Soccer Varsity Team at the HS with Coach Low. They're the best!

I also have continued to be the Head Coach of the Robotics Team at the HS, the GreegineerZ 3452. Along with my sporty side, I have am a nerd at heart. I am so proud of this team because we are the first team in our county to win in our subdivision at the St. Louis Championship and to be an alliance captain. It is an honor to take home not just one blue banner, but two; also, winning one of our district events. I love being around kids, what can I say?!

In the summer of 2016, I became a "puppy parent" to a beautiful and lovable F1B Goldendoodle named Cookie. She is nicknamed "Chewy" after the Star Wars character Chewbacca. She truly occupies my time nowadays. I love spending time with her and my significant other.

Throughout the years, I have tried to live my life to the fullest by creating memories that truly bring life-changing experiences. Teaching is my passion. It is my duty to mold and inspire students to achieve their potential as future leaders of society. With a cheerful disposition towards science, a nurturing spirit, and a patient heart, I hope to successfully transfer my passion to my students by encouraging them to be avid explorers of life.
